As a busy, homeschooling mom, I don't have time to workout hours in the gym everyday. I created my own unique workouts as a certified trainer to help women like you and I transform our bodies in the comfort of our own living room. The workouts are short -- all under 30 minutes -- but are intense and will help you lose fat and build muscle. Give me 3 or more days a week, and let's get some results, girl!

Becoming a Mother Introduced Me To Myself
After having my first child back in 2012, I had sort of an existential crisis. I wondered:
How the heck am I going to be an amazing mom to this human AND still go after the things I want in life? Don't "good moms" give up all desires outside of homemaking?!
You see, before (and during) my first pregnancy, I was finishing up my BA degree from home, running a business, working out consistently and professionally dancing on any stage that'd have me. I was creatively alive. Fired up. Living my destiny. And it wasn't until I became a mother that I wondered if I had to give that all up in order to be a "good mom".
I stared into my son's eyes and had an epiphany. If I was going to try to be the best mom I could be, I needed to be an authentic mom. I decided I wanted him to know who his mom really is--not some idealized version of who society has trained us to think she should be.
It was around that time as a young, nursing, deliriously tired and in love mom the idea for MOMS WEAR HEELS was born.
I wanted to create a space for women and mothers who still dared to continue their journey of evolving into the best versions of themselves...without the mommy guilt.
I realized as I started my fitness journey, blog, wrote my first book, and walked the stage as a college graduate, and competed in my first fitness competition (while nursing baby #2 backstage), that my refusing to settle was the best thing I could do for my children. I decided that was the legacy I wanted to leave as an old Monica.
Instead of quitting on my fitness, business and life goals, I decided to include my children and get creative. Sharing our journey has gotten us featured on media outlets such as BET, The Doctors, Fit Pregnancy, NY Post, TEDx, People, CBS and more. I've also had the pleasure of collaborating with brands such as JCPenney, Kroger, Kohl's, Toys R Us, GoGo squeeZ and much more. My mission is to continue to empower women to lead the life God's given you to lead...kids in tow and all.
